Cancellation Policy

Draft last updated September 24, 2026 · Not yet in effect

1. How to Cancel

An organization's own authorized administrator can cancel its subscription at any time from the Subscription & Billing page in-product. No support request is required to cancel.

2. Two Ways to Cancel

Cancelling offers two choices:

  • Cancel at period end: the organization keeps full, normal access for the rest of the period it has already paid for, and the subscription ends automatically once that period is over. This can be undone at any time before the period ends.
  • Cancel immediately: the organization's write access ends right away. Historical data remains fully visible and exportable. Cancelling never deletes anything.

3. Cancellation Never Destroys Data

Cancelling a subscription, by either method above, never deletes your organization's business records, users, or historical reports. Reports, exports, and audit history remain fully accessible after cancellation. See Data Export & Retention for how long that access continues and what a full account/data deletion would involve.

4. Reactivating

A cancelled organization can be reactivated by returning to a paid plan; this is currently performed by platform staff on request. Reactivating does not restore access to anything that was never deleted in the first place: the organization's historical data was never removed.

5. Cancellation for Non-Payment

An organization that never resolves a failed payment (past the grace period described in the Subscription Terms) moves to a read-only mode, not an automatic cancellation. An organization that then remains dormant in read-only mode for an extended period without paying or explicitly cancelling is eventually marked expired, a passive, reporting-only distinction from an explicit cancellation, which also never deletes any data.

6. Minimum Commitment

PlaceholderWhether any plan carries a minimum commitment period, or an early-cancellation fee, is pending a business and legal decision. Nothing in this document should be read as implying either exists or does not exist for any specific plan.

7. Refunds on Cancellation

See the Subscription Terms' Refunds section: no refund policy has been finalized yet.
