Data Export & Retention

1. Exporting Your Data

An organization's own authorized users can export business reports (sales, inventory, and related records) as CSV files directly from the Reports section at any time, for any historical period their role allows them to see. No support request is required to export data.

2. Data Retention While Subscribed

For as long as an organization's account exists, its data (shops, products, inventory history, staff records, sales, and audit history) is retained in full and remains accessible in-product. Nothing is automatically summarized away or deleted for being old.

3. Data Retention After Cancellation or Expiry

Cancelling a subscription, or an organization lapsing into a dormant/expired state for non-payment, does not delete any data. Historical records, reports, and exports remain fully accessible after cancellation, for as long as the organization's account continues to exist on the platform.

PlaceholderA specific, legally binding time limit on how long data is retained after cancellation before it may eventually be deleted (as opposed to the current behavior of retaining it indefinitely unless a deliberate deletion is requested) has not been decided and is pending a business and legal decision.

4. Permanent Deletion

Permanently deleting a shop's or a user account's full history is a deliberate, irreversible action available only to an organization's Owner, shown with a preview of exactly what would be removed before it is confirmed. It is never performed automatically by the platform.

5. Data Portability

Reports are exportable as CSV, a widely-supported format that can be opened in ordinary spreadsheet software or imported elsewhere. 6. Backups
